Our dedicated staff comes in at 5 A.M. everyday to craft beautiful displays of the best produce the Bay Area has to offer. Whenever possible, we strive to source fruits and vegetables that are seasonal and grown locally or within California. Over the past 40 years, we have developed relationships with local produce distributors and farmers such as Veritable Vegetable, Blossom Bluff Orchards, Full Belly Farm, Nana Mae’s (try their dry-farmed, Sonoma-grown apples), and Happy Boy Farms.
We know that redirecting food from the waste-stream is more important than ever–that’s why we offer our popular “2nd Best” bags of produce most evenings for $5. This allows us to give our excellent, 100% organic produce a second chance to sell, while offering our customers a great deal and a chance to try something new! We also donate to Food Runners weekly in an effort to support local non-profits and to keep that food out of the green bin.
