On Sunday, Oct. 29th, from 1 pm to 4 pm.

We will distribute free food samples, beverages and educational flyers about our coop. Local artists and authors will show-case their work and sell their products, including our own Shanta Nimbark Sacharoff, with her new book, Other Avenues Are Possible: Legacy of the San Francisco Bay Area’s People’s Food System.

We will be entertained by Fat Chance Belly Dance Troupe. We will have activities for children such as face painting and story-reading.  Later, we will move the party next door, at Sunset Youth Services for more space.

The event is FREE and open to our shoppers and the public.
