Wholesome Chow comes to OA

Wholesome Chow Gluten-Free All Purpose/Baking Mix, $3.99/lb

It’s true. We now have this amazing **gluten-free** all-purpose/pancake mix from Wholesome Chow in our bulk section! It’s also egg, dairy and casein free. And what’s even better, it’s cheap – about 20 cents per pancake. Or, if you’re using this for all-purpose flour, it’s about $1.60 per cup of flour.

Please note that the bulk buyers have separated this special gluten-free mix from our other bulk flours. You can find it near our bulk sugars. They have also labelled a special metallic scoop as “gluten-free.”

Note that this formula already contains guar gum, so don’t add xanthan or guar gum when you use it as an all-purpose mix! Also, this mix has salt in it, so if your baking recipe calls for salt, cut down on the amount of salt.
