Other Avenues is deeply involved in the community it serves. We actively participate in local events such as the Annual Sunset Community Festival, World Vegetarian Day and the UCSF Earth Day Celebration. We also attend the Green Festival of the Bay Area and many educational cooperative conferences throught the year.
Other Avenues is a cofounder of the Judah Beach Merchant & Professionals Association, our neighborhood merchant community group. We encourage our shoppers, patrons and friends to provide feedback via email or speaking to any worker in the store, or by using our Suggestion Board located in the store, near our Bulk Herbs and Spices section.
